Thank you to everyone who completed the first half of the PCE Presenter's Training! On behalf of the OC Red Cross Public Health & Safety Services, as well as the youth group, I want to thank and congratulate all of you for your interest and participation in our preparedness & community disaster education training.
If you attended the first training, you are half way to a certification!
That said, our second training is MANDATORY in order to be an official Red Cross certified disaster education presenter! It takes place on Wednesday, November 28, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Orange County Red Cross Chapter (Room 208). We strongly encourage all of you to attend, but I want to emphasize that we are really looking for a group of responsible, dedicated presenters this year. Having this responsibility entails knowing/studying the information & powerpoints thoroughly, making time for presentations when dates are set, and having good public speaking skills. If you are willing and want to take on this leadership role in the community, PLEASE join us for this second PCE training.
