Cause for Alarm Details and Permission Slip

Hello Red Cross Youth,

This is just a reminder that this year's Cause for Alarm event will take place in Santa Ana on Monday, January 20 (MLK Day).  We will be meeting at OCFA Station 75 at 9am.  Station 75 is located at 120 W Walnut Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701.

Permission slips are due on Wednesday, January 15 and can be found here.  They can be e-mailed to Steve Tomasek at Steve.Tomasek2@redcross.org or faxed to 714-480-5009.  Also, all volunteers must have a complete Volunteer Connection profile in order to participate.

This event is a great opportunity to gain community service hours with friends while working to keep Santa Ana safe from home fires.  We are hoping to get 30 volunteers, so please sign up!

As an extra special treat, there will be a barbeque at the OC Chapter following the event.  In addition to traditional barbeque and vegetarian options, courageous youth volunteers will have the chance to sample some barbequed goat, prepared by our very own goat expert, Denis Kimani.
